I am a junior reporter at The Times. I have completed a Level 5 diploma in Journalism and have completed a two-year apprenticeship at The Times I have over 18 months of experience in a national news room across various different sections of a newspaper. My skills include writing good copy suitable for the style of the newspaper, interviewing, transcribing, writing accurately and good fact checking, awareness of ethical/law issues pertaining to the media and of the IPSO code. I have shorthand to 60wpm, and have awareness of the importance of digital journalism and SEO/social media.
