Emma started her career in retail head offices, working across customer service and HR for Lush and Cult Beauty. After falling in love with beauty journalism, she interned at Marie Claire in London and worked for a trade beauty magazine before landing at the UK's Daily Mail Best Buys as a junior editor, where she specializes in in skincare, haircare, and makeup, and all aspects of beauty content.

She is a 2014 graduate from The University of Portsmouth with a Bachelor of Science in Human Communication Science.
