I'm Felix Lowe – a freelance journalist, author, copywriter and translator specialising in cycling, travel, entertainment and lifestyle. My first book, Climbs and Punishment: Riding to Rome in the Footsteps of Hannibal, was published in June 2014 by Bantam Press and was shortlisted for the Cross British Sports Book Awards. Best known for my Last Gasp column in Cyclist magazine or the long-standing Eurosport blog, Blazin' Saddles, I also write Eurosport’s historical Re-Cycle series of in-depth features. All four seasons (51 episodes) have also been turned into a critically acclaimed podcast.
