Born and raised in Memphis, India Roby is a fashion writer at NYLON and a freelance journalist based in New York City. She covers any and all things within the fashion zeitgeist including but not limited to breaking news, shopping guides, and the hottest trends.

In 2021, India graduated from The New School with a Bachelor’s in Journalism + Design and a minor in Fashion Communication. Her bylines have also appeared in Teen Vogue, Byrdie, V Magazine and VMAN, among others.

When she actually has free time, India enjoys brushing up on her Korean, making TikTok videos, and over-drafting her bank account.
