Justice Petersen

I am a recent Columbia College Chicago grad, having earned a journalism major with a concentration in magazine writing and a music business minor with a concentration in live and touring production. During my time at Columbia College I have excelled in my studies and have actively pursued journalism opportunities, academic or otherwise. In school I worked as a writing tutor and as a writer and managing editor for Echo Magazine.

I am also a music journalist; I currently write for Chicago Music Guide, Fever Dream Zine, Sunstroke Magazine and my own personal blog. For these publications I write music reviews, concert reviews, interviews with artists, and articles relating to current news within the music industry. I have had articles featured in the Chicago Reader, ChicagoTalks, Chicago Music Guide, and others. Ultimately in my work I love and hope to provide a platform for up and coming artists and/or artists I greatly admire.
