Katelyn Squiers is an editorial apprentice at Better Homes & Gardens and a senior at Iowa State University, where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Mass Communications and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish. She has a passion for feature writing, news reporting, and narrative storytelling, with experience as a reporter and editor for the Iowa State Daily and contributor to TREND magazine.
While studying abroad in Valencia, Spain, Katelyn explored Spanish culture and translation, further enriching her writing perspective. She loves DIY decor and budget decorating, believing that making a space your own should be both fun and affordable.
When she's not writing, Katelyn enjoys skating, line dancing, and playing ultimate frisbee. She is set to graduate in spring 2025.
