I'm a multicultural freelance journalist and creative consultant based in Washington, D.C. Currently, I am a senior contributing fashion editor at PopSugar, a contributing editor at Cosmopolitan, and a consulting copywriter on the global creative team at La Mer.

My writing has been published in The New York Times, The Washington Post, Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, InStyle, Architectural Digest, Wine Enthusiast, Refinery29, Teen Vogue, and others. I primarily cover culture, style, and politics through the lens of gender, race, and ethnicity. I am available for long-lead commissions and assignments.

In addition to my editorial experience, I’ve worked as an in-house communicator, copywriter, editor, and strategist across a broad range of industries for more than a decade. As a consultant, I collaborate with clients on creative/content strategy, copywriting, and editorial best practices.

I earned my undergraduate degrees in journalism and English from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. My current literary projects include a novel and a nonfiction book proposal.

When not writing — or thinking about writing — I enjoy high intensity workouts, calming yoga sessions, sustainably sourced food and wine, and planning my next escapade.
