Nandini Gupta is an undergraduate studying journalism and dramatic writing at New York University.

She’s the author of two bestselling novels “Daughter of the Night” and “Queen & King.”

Besides penning novels, she is an avid reporter, filmmaker, and writer, often producing short documentaries, news video packages, and writing feature articles and profiles. She is a video reporter at CNBC Africa, specializing in explainer videos on business, tech, and social media, and an on-camera correspondent and producer at NDTV, reporting on breaking news and geopolitical stories. She also writes and produces social videos for Forbes Africa’s website and magazine issues. Her reporting has led her to discover stories in the United States, India, and South Africa.

Previously, she worked at the news analysis desk at Times Now and The Times of India, covering everything from politics to entertainment and lifestyle. She also writes and produces videos for Washington Square News, NYU Local, and Cooper Squared.
