Natasha Wynarczyk

Consumer Editor, Daily Mirror

I am a talented features and news journalist with a particular interest in real life, investigative, health, entertainment, and lifestyle writing. I am known for being able to source interesting and varied case studies and interview sensitively and respectfully, getting the best out of my interviewees. In 2019, I came highly commended in the News category for the MHP 30 To Watch: Young Journalist Awards and highly commended in the Guild of Health Writers' Awards.

Having held student media editorial positions throughout my undergraduate degree, I am a major advocate for it. When I started the role of Vice President Student Media and Engagement at King's College London Students' Union, I came up with a comprehensive and financially-sound student media strategy to save the then-failing and underfunded student media, which is still in use today. I have an Honorary Life Membership from KCLSU for my work there. I also did a guest lecture in features writing at Newcastle University as well as a panel talk to MA students, and I am actively looking to do more of this kind of work.

I am also a member of the National Union of Journalists and a rep at my chapel.
