Sasha Richie is a business reporter at The Dallas Morning News, covering the dynamic intersection of business and people, with a particular interest in how the business world shapes Dallas. She has previous experience covering sports, environmental issues, and local news.

Before joining The Dallas Morning News, Sasha worked in the news department at Car and Driver magazine and served as the sports managing editor of The Duke Chronicle, where she won two individual Pacemaker awards for her reporting.

A Duke University graduate (Class of 2023), she earned an A.B. in Russian, a certificate in Policy, Journalism, and Media Studies, and a minor in Political Science. During her time at Duke, she was also involved in Amnesty International, Hoof ‘n’ Horn Musical Theatre, and was a member of the Duke harp studio.
