Sophie is a Travel News Reporter at Daily Star. She began working at the Daily Star in 2019 having moved from The Telegraph. She's an NCTJ qualified journalist with four years of experience working at both tabloid and broadsheet newspapers as well as on weekend magazines. She specializes in lifestyle and travel content and have worked extensively on a number of newsletters.

She graduated with a Master’s in English from Lancaster University and enjoys yoga, cooking, travelling the world and obsessively reading fantasy novels.
