
Terry Turner
Terry Turner is an Emmy-winning former television journalist with over 30 years of experience. He covers dangerous drugs and faulty medical devices and the government policies that allowed them to reach and hurt consumers.
Terry has also extensively covered Medicare and retirement planning options for consumers, as well as comprehensive coverage of consumer financial products, including investments and savings plans.
As an investigative reporter for CONUS Communications’ Washington bureau, he covered Congress and federal agencies for roughly 100 local television news departments across the United States.
His reports have not only highlighted dangerous products, from children’s toys to family cars, but also brought attention to identity theft and data privacy risks, unchecked pollution, and the influence of special interests on workplace safety protections.
His work has been recognized with prestigious awards, including a MarCom Awards platinum for his expose on Juul's marketing tactics and a Digital Health Awards Silver for his report on the overuse of dangerous heartburn medicines.
Terry received his Bachelor of Arts in Media Arts from Lyon College. He is a certified Financial Wellness Facilitator and a past member of the American Medical Writers Association and the White House Correspondents Association.
