📚 Who I Am – Journalist, Novelist, Activist, Consummate Queer Professional
As a journalist and creative in equal measure, I bring artistic flair and professionalism to all my writing and storytelling.
As a disabled person, I’m committed to keeping it accessible and readable to a broad audience.
And as a queer, nonbinary trans writer, I’m an activist for LGBTQIA+ and especially Trans+ rights, at this critical juncture in our history.
👓 Where I’m Featured
My words have been seen in publications including: The Metro, The Nation, The Independent, Press Gazette, QueerAF, Trans+ History Week, and Future plc magazines GamesRadar+ and Louder.
🌟 What I Do
In more than three years writing digital content, I’ve gathered experience with many formats - from first-person life stories, to SEO-optimised advice blogs, and deeply researched and reported articles.
My written work is beautifully accessible, promoting:
- LGBTQIA+ and Disability/Disabled equity, inclusion, and representation
- Trauma-informed approaches and mental health awareness
- Human rights and equality, through the power of language to capture hearts and change minds
Meanwhile I devote my spare time to my Pagan practice and witchcraft, various geeky pursuits, reading, journaling, and writing poetry and historical fiction.
💜 What I’m Looking For
I’m seeking work that melds creative writing and a powerful motivation, in line with my experience and the social causes I care most about.
My happy place in a career would be anywhere I can make a positive change with my writing, perhaps sprinkling a bit of magic along the way.
