Dr. Akshaya Bhagavathula is a Postdoctoral Fellow of Public health at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, USA. He received his Bachelors in Pharmacy and Doctor of Pharmacy from India; Ph.D. in Public health and Occupational health from the United Arab Emirates University, UAE and another Ph.D. in Social and Clinical Pharmacy from the Charles University, Czech Republic. Since 2013, he has mentored and taught over 500 students pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in pharmacy and public health. Dr. Akshaya published over 200 research articles in prestigious journals such as the Lancet, Journal of American Medical Association, and Nature Communication, emphasizing public health, global health, epidemiology, and infectious diseases. He also served as a frontline health worker for more than two dozen countries with international health organizations such as WHO, USAID, UNICEF, SIAPS, and MSF.
