Dr. Fishman, Medical Director for Obstetrix of San Jose, part of Pediatrix Medical Group, is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and maternal-fetal medicine. He received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and completed his OB/GYN residency and maternal-fetal medicine fellowship program at University of Southern California, School of Medicine in Los Angeles.

In addition to providing a full range of perinatology services, Dr. Fishman is an expert at highly specialized ultrasound examinations such as fetal echocardiography and invasive procedures, including fetal umbilical blood sampling.

Dr. Fishman is approved by California Genetic Disease Branch to perform chorionic villus sampling and is also certified by the Nuchal Translucency Quality Review program as a provider for first trimester genetic screening.
