"I'm Alari Aho, the CEO and Founder of Toggl - Track, Plan, and Hire. A company that has built 3 successful organizational productivity tools: Toggl Track, Toggl Plan, and Toggl Hire.

From the University of Tartu, I have done my B.A. in Economics and MBA in Technology Management. I have dedicated over 15 years of my experience to finding ways in which technology can be leveraged for the betterment of the workforce’s productivity and efficiency.

I have served 8 years from 2004 to 2012, as a member of the Supervisory Body of ELIKO Competence Centre, a hub for Electronics, Info- and Communication Technologies.

I am also the founder and have worked as a Managing Partner at Apprise, where I managed operations for an IT software services company. While working here, questions like “What should we budget for our different projects?” and “How long did we spend working on that task again?"" popped into my mind and that's how the idea of Toggl was born.
