Albert is the Chief Executive Officer at PatPat. He founded PatPat in 2014 with fellow engineer and father, Ken Gao, who like many parents were frustrated with high prices for quality kids clothing and lack of variety. At the time, Albert and Ken felt their choices were between limited high-priced boutiques and catalogs, or the more affordable, but often dull, cookie-cutter styles of big box retailers. Both of them knew there had to be a better way, and together they set out to build their own modern kids’ apparel brand online. Harnessing their tech backgrounds, Albert and Ken applied their back-end problem solving skills to re-engineer the supply chain for PatPat. By refining production processes, cutting traditional marketups, and designing an app to engage directly with consumers, PatPat became known for its abundance of unique styles at attainable prices for the average parent. Over the last 8 years, they’ve built PatPat from a single app into a global ecommerce brand beloved by more than 21M customers in 140 countries worldwide with over 30,000 kids and family clothing styles, and counting.

As former engineers, Go-Glow has been a labor of love for Ken and I, bridging our backgrounds in technology with the joy we find in creating for our own children, and seeing their eyes light up. We believe Go-Glow is the future of kid's fashion combining technology and creativity to create new interactive and engaging experiences for kids.
