Alice is passionate about business approaches to humanitarian challenges. Before moving to Iraq, she worked as the design lead at the Columbia Entrepreneurship Design Studio, teaching entrepreneurship programs and coaching startups in New York City. She was an innovation specialist in UNHCR Innovation, an entrepreneurial unit in the UN Refugee Agency. She also worked at the American University of Iraq, Sulaimani, and consulted with Mercy Corps' Social Ventures team.
