Born in Tokyo, Japan and raised in Montana, Alissa moved to NYC after high school to pursue a career in dance and theatre. She has performed in several regional theatre productions, as well as the Off Broadway burlesque show Coco & The Vanity Vixens, NYC Fashion Week, commercials, music videos and Dolly Parton’s Netflix movie musical Christmas on the Square. Alissa has always had a passion for health and fitness. She found AKT in 2014 while living in NYC and instantly fell in love. Alissa taught at the NYC studios until making the move to LA in 2017. There she continued to train celebrities and private clients as well as teach for AKT retreats, corporate events, and hold pop up classes around Los Angeles while still auditioning and working as a performer. Tucker is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist, 200 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher and Pre/Post Natal Corrective Exercise Specialist. Now a Master Trainer for AKT, Tucker assists with the AKT Certification Program, content creation and social media. She also teaches for AKT GO, AKT Yorba Linda and the LA AKT studios.
