Alyssa Batchelor-Causey is a seasoned political strategist with a career spanning campaigns and government. Starting as a Youth Organizer for the Obama campaign in 2008, she has worked to elect Democratic policymakers and pass progressive legislation nationwide. In 2023, she founded Hill and State Strategies, a national opposition research firm dedicated to empowering Democratic campaigns with cutting-edge technology.
Hill and State Strategies received the Higher Ground Labs' Progressive AI Lab Grant in December 2023, leading to the development of research tools leveraging AI and machine learning. Alyssa co-founded Summit Labs Technologies, Inc., launching RivalMind AI, a pioneering political intelligence platform.
Alyssa holds a Bachelors and Masters degree in Political Science, is a graduate of The Campaign School at Yale, is a published author in the Journal of Advocacy, Research, and Education, and is a recipient of The Leadership Center for Excellence’s Northern Virginia 40 Under 40 Award.
