Amanda highlights "strategic stall" due to tariff fatigue, causing decision bottlenecks. She notes delays in investment and reformulation, with businesses adopting dual-path strategies for adaptability and resilience. • Innovative Gap Analysis: Beyond Traditional Frameworks
Amanda reveals her firm avoids traditional frameworks, opting for a proprietary methodology. By focusing on real-world operations and involving frontline team members, they identify friction points and inefficiencies. Amanda says, "Our methodology is less about frameworks and more about ground-truthing what’s real," ensuring sustainable, tailored solutions that work in practice, not just on paper.

Amanda highlights that talent gaps often mask deeper issues: siloed operations and outdated technology. She emphasizes, “The real solution isn’t just upskilling—it’s breaking down silos first.” Misaligned systems lead to inefficiencies, not a lack of skills. The solution lies in process mapping and cross-functional collaboration, not just upskilling.

  • I know that when I talk about Standard Operating Procedures some business leaders may fear an environment that will become rigid and dim creativity. I’ll admit it does sound a little formal but in fact as the person writing standard operating procedures, I will tell you this.

If creativity dwindles, and your environment becomes ridged you’re doing business all wrong!

Standard operating procedures are put in place to reflect a process, it allows your team the autonomy to take the initiative themselves to learn how to do something (easily) and not have to rely on someone else to help them, tell them, or just do it for them all the time.

SOPs ensure the output that your customer ultimately will receive (this is internal and external customers) is the same quality, on brand, and what they expect from you.

Creativity should always be in motion or you will be left behind.

  • So what is quiet quitting??

Yet another buzz word has hit mainstream, so I want to talk about #quietquitting .

Quiet quitting applies to people who are doing just enough to get by and not get fired, nothing more, nothing less.

Some will phrase it as “acting my wage” arguably saying you pay me to work X number of hours and do X amount of work and that is exactly what I will do.

So quite quitting has nothing to do with quitting and more to do with setting boundaries.

For those of us in the workforce for some time now are familiar with work / life - - no balance. Working long hours and being salaried, you aren't being compensated for that extra work. In some cases, your employer expected it. (I remember those days vividly).

We used to look down on those that would watch the clock and punch in and out in time. Idk are they wrong?
