Dr. Anaum Maqsood received her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Aga Khan University and her Medical Degree and served as the Chief Resident at the University at Buffalo - Catholic health system. Additionally, she completed her Hematology and Oncology Fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine and has previously practiced at Wakemed Hospital in Cary, North Carolina.
She has a special interest in treating gastrointestinal cancers, including colon, rectal and pancreatic cancers. Her other professional interests include participation in clinical trials focusing on discovering biomarkers track disease processes and to work on potential novel targets for cancer therapy.
