Anis is a resilient and creative visionary with a passion for technology, film, and blockchain innovation. His journey began with a dream of working in the film industry, but a life-changing car accident in 1999, which left him with two broken legs and severe burns, set him on an unexpected path. During his recovery, Anis immersed himself in learning HTML, JavaScript, and animation software, sparking a deep interest in technology.

In 2003, Anis joined TTT Moneycorp, a foreign exchange company, where he played a key role in establishing their new E-Business department. It was during this time that he encountered Bitcoin, which fueled his growing passion for the emerging world of cryptocurrency.

In 2005, Anis narrowly escaped the tragic London bombings, an experience that profoundly impacted his life and motivated him to pursue his true calling in film. In 2008, he left Moneycorp to focus on filmmaking, eventually writing a screenplay and founding his own production company. His debut horror film, Dementamania, starring Kal Penn, premiered at FrightFest in 2013. Anis continued to build his career with the sci-fi hit 2036 Origin Unknown in 2018, which became a top-selling film on Netflix.

While working on 2036 Origin Unknown, Anis and two longtime friends, Dan Baines and Charles Dunley, decided to build a studio after encountering challenges securing space. What started as a solution to a logistical problem evolved into a larger technological venture that is now nearing completion.

Anis’ life took a transformative turn with the birth of his daughter in 2020, which reignited his creative energy. Inspired by this new chapter, he wrote Deity, a script he considers his most significant work to date, and plans to bring it to the screen in 2025.
