As an expert on allergic dermatitis, Dr. Mehrotra has treated thousands of patients with a wide range of allergic diseases. She has also contributed to groundbreaking food allergy research and teaching at Stanford University, where she has served as Adjunct Clinical Instructor for over a decade.
Dr. Anjuli Mehrotra studied Biology and Biomedical Engineering at MIT. She received her MD from Cornell Medical School, followed by a Pediatrics residency at Children’s Hospital Seattle and an Allergy and Immunology fellowship at the University of Washington. Dr. Mehrotra is board certified in Allergy/Immunology and Pediatrics.

“As an allergist/immunologist, I have a completely different definition of what is considered hypoallergenic compared to normal convention. With so many ingredients with high allergic potential and with allergies rising, it has become important to consider a broader set of potential allergens than before. It’s not enough to be slightly less allergenic than normal. We need to aim to be as close to 'sans-allergenic' (without allergens) as we can.”
