  • Anything we do mindfully, with attention and reverence, is a meditation.

  • Greetings, my name is Anne-Marie Emanuelli, founder and director at Mindful Frontiers where we welcome a mindful future, one present moment at a time. A turning point in my life was when I decided to introduce mindfulness into my school classrooms. This was in 2017 when I was a full-time high school teacher. Our academy had experienced three student suicides in the span of about a year, two of which were right before the new school year. This experience sent me into deep grief and I decided to resume a personal meditation practice that I’d let go for some time. During one of my meditations, I had the realization that my students would benefit from this self-compassion practice since they were certainly dealing with grief as well. Mindfulness and meditation were also introduced to my colleagues as a social-emotional activity that benefitted the school as a whole. Bringing mindfulness into classrooms was a life-changing decision that led to where I am now: a certified meditation guide and coach. As Thich Nhat Hahn said, simply, “The Way Out is In.”

  • Leading and guiding meditation is my life path after a long professional career as a classroom teacher. Other than inviting individuals and groups to bring meditation into their daily routine through articles, workshops, and coaching sessions, I am a meditation guide and coach for families, school classrooms, and staff training sessions.
