  • In an interview with KNX News Radio, Ari Friedman was asked if government agencies will play a role that can complicate any issues with insurance following the Los Angeles wildfires. He responded with, "It doesn't complicate the issues of insurance, but any policy owner should be aware– I believe FEMA disaster aid has been unlocked and made available for fire victims. There also might be a potential for a Small Business Administration loan, a low-interest loan to help people recover and rebuild. So it doesn't frustrate or complicate the insurance process, but it is something that homeowners should be aware of, that there is an additional source of money they can reach out to that might help them better rebuild after this disaster".

  • Wildfire attorney Ari Friedman, a partner and trial attorney at the Los Angeles-based law firm Wisner Baum, discussed the demanding nature of the raging Los Angeles fires and the reports that fire hydrants across the city have gone dry.

He said this is a result of an increased demand simply overwhelming the supply. He said this, "doesn't immediately point to an equipment or water line failure as a lawyer might think of it". Friedman added that the Palisades area, the site of the biggest fire, is served by water tanks because of the area's high elevation.

  • Ari Friedman told USA Today about the Boeing lawsuit:

“This lawsuit isn’t only about the unimaginable fear and suffering of the passengers on that plane, it is about a failure that should have never occurred.”

“We’re talking about a gaping hole ripping open mid-flight in the side of a commercial jet. Properly installed bolts are the difference between safety and disaster, so there is no excuse for why those would be left out, or why quality control checks and routine inspections would miss them.”
