I am a wellness expert. I am trained as an Organizational Psychologist & Management Scholar (trained at UPenn & Wharton). My research and publications focused on building resilience, overcoming adversity, mental health, and work-life balance. I have taught classes on Leadership, Teamwork, and Management. In addition, I am deeply passionate about nutritional well-being and I am a National Academy of Sciences certified Nutrition coach and have a functional foods start-up: Nourish, the first instant and high-protein chia pudding.
I have given various talks in both academic and industry conferences and received various awards throughout my career including a Fulbright Scholarship, and several leadership and research grants including the Morris Viteles award and Wharton's Leadership grant. I am Latina, first in my family to go to college, and my passion for helping others overcome adversity and thrive led to my dissertation, which was an intervention on how to help use people's past experiences of overcoming adversity to fuel them at work.
