Arijit Roy leads Consumer Segment & Solutions within the Consumer & Business Banking team at U.S. Bank. In this capacity, he oversees deposit products and agile studios that are focused on driving distinctive client experiences across acquisition and retention. He joined U.S. Bank in 2022.
Previously, Arijit led Consumer Products, Decision Sciences, and Consumer Strategy at Truist Financial Corporation, along with other leadership roles at Truist including leading Small Business Banking, digital integration, and business change leadership – driving merger integration for the consumer segment for the merger of equals between SunTrust and BB&T.
Arijit also oversaw deposits at Discover Financial Services, for its Consumer Bank, along with numerous leadership roles across marketing, digital, product management, and operations in various Discover businesses. He was previously an Associate Partner at McKinsey and Company, where he served large financial service clients in banking, insurance, and payments, and held roles at H&R Block, and Sprint (now T-Mobile) earlier in his career.
Arijit has an MBA from Harvard Business School, an MS in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech, and a BE in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Manipal Institute of Technology in India. He represents U.S. Bank as a board member on the Consumer Bankers’ Association Board and is past Board member of the Bank Administration Institute, and past member of the Associate Boards of the American India Foundation, and the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation. He has been featured in publications, including Forbes, Fortune, FOX Business, MarketWatch, and The Wall Street Journal.
