  • Expert Tips for Curling Thick Hair: Achieve Perfect Curls
Becca advises using "high heat, small sections, and a strong heat protectant." Choose titanium or tourmaline barrels, adjustable heat up to 450°F, and longer barrels for long hair. Prep with volumizing products, curl dry hair only, and pin curls to cool. For volume, use larger barrels; for definition, smaller ones. Finish with flexible-hold hairspray.
  • Expert Tips: Optimal Heat Levels for Blow-Dry and Hot Brushes
Becca advises, “Medium to high heat is best for most hair types with blow-dry brushes.” For hot brushes, start at 250°F–300°F for fine hair. Infrared heat is gentler, penetrating hair from within. Use hot brushes on dry, detangled hair, avoiding wet hair unless designed for damp-to-dry use.
  • Master the Art of Diffusing Curly Hair with Expert Tips
Becca explains that a diffuser is a tool to define curly hair texture. Start with moisturized, sectioned curls, and diffuse while wet. Use hot air, scrunch before diffusing, and finish with oil for shine. For volume, diffuse upside down at the end. Apply moisturizing gel before diffusing to avoid flaking.
