Bernard Kamungo is a professional soccer player who plays as a winger for Major League Soccer club FC Dallas. Born in Kasulu, Tanzania, Kamungo moved to Abilene, Texas as a 14-year-old and competed for Abilene High School’s varsity soccer team. He attended the North Texas SC’s 2021 open tryout in January and was one of four players invited to participate in the team’s preseason training camp. Bernard is currently an athlete ambassador for Betterguards, a next-generation sports tech company, pioneering advancements in injury prevention, recovery, and athlete performance.
