Bill Staton is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) with an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from UNC-Chapel Hill. Bill is also known as “America’s Money Coach®”. He launched his financial services career at Interstate Securities (headquartered in Charlotte, NC) as a securities analyst in 1971. While at Interstate, he became director of the equity research department and member of the management team and board of directors. Bill left Interstate in late 1985 to begin a stock-picking newsletter, which he published until March 2011.
