Grandson of the famed explorer Thor Heyerdahl of the Kon-Tiki Expedition, and a life-long explorer, ecologist, and author himself, Bjørn has spent the majority of his career seeking out and sharing sustainable life models in Africa and around the world. He has worked closely with industry, mining, agri-business, governments, banks, and wilderness preserves of every description, helping them transition to a more regenerative way of being through biospheric design.

A visionary, pragmatist, and integral leader, Bjørn has created and led a host of international projects focused on the blend of integral design into development projects, from small private developments to ones covering issues of strategic national importance, such as coastal erosion.
