Britt Cornett is the director of exhibitions at Chihuly Studio, the working studio of American artist Dale Chihuly. A key member of the Studio’s creative team since 2006, Cornett cultivates relationships with museums and gardens around the world to create art experiences that enable access to Chihuly’s body of work and ensure his legacy.
Cornett oversees every stage of Chihuly’s exhibition development and execution and was instrumental in the design and curation of Chihuly Garden and Glass, a long-term exhibition located in Seattle which opened in 2012. She also manages the acquisition and ascension of artwork to the permanent collections of institutions such as Montreal Museum of Fine Arts; Boston Museum of Fine Art; Toyama Glass Art Museum, Japan; Crystal Bridges American Museum of Art in Bentonville, Arkansas; and Groninger Museum in Groningen, Netherlands.
