Dr. Calvin Fitch (he/him) is a Clinical Psychologist and Researcher based at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School who specializes in using cognitive behavioral techniques to help others cope with mental health challenges and find their joy. Dr. Fitch uses research-supported treatments to help clients address a variety of conditions (e.g., mood disorders, anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, and trauma) in the fewest number of sessions. In addition to clinical work, Dr. Fitch is at the forefront of conducting innovative research in mental and sexual health among Black gay and bisexual men. The National Institute of Mental Health has recognized and funded his work through a $1,000,000 grant to conduct HIV prevention work in Boston and Miami. Dr. Fitch also operates a boutique private practice as "The Social Anxiety Doctor" using evidence-based treatments to help clients social anxiety and a variety of other mental health concerns. In his spare time, he enjoys making evidence-based mental health coping skills accessible to a general audience through social media content creation on Instagram and TikTok.
