Carl Russo | Source | CEO at Calix

Carl is the current CEO of Calix and a member of the board of directors. He has over 30 years of experience in the networking and telecommunications industries. Prior to taking an active role with Calix in December 2002, he was a member of the Calix board of directors. Also earlier, he was the vice president of optical strategy and group vice president of optical networking for Cisco. Carl joined Cisco in 1999 as a result of the acquisition of Cerent Corporation, where he was the president and CEO.
