Carol is the Senior Vice President and Chief Supply Chain & Manufacturing Officer at Fluence Energy. She is responsible for manufacturing, logistics and supply chain at Fluence. With 25 years of experience throughout the end-to-end value chain, she has worked with many of the world’s largest contract manufacturers and suppliers to drive the best total cost of ownership throughout the supply chain. Carol has a proven track record of piloting change management efforts, increasing market share and expediting time to market. Before joining Fluence, Carol was Vice President of Supply Chain Operations at Itron. Prior to that, she was Chief Operating Officer and member of the board of directors at DataLogic, Vice President of Hewlett Packard’s EG AMS manufacturing and supply chain operations, and held senior leadership roles at companies including Intermec and Plasmon, Inc.

Fluence has secured additional shipping capacity and ramped up the size of its supply chain and manufacturing team. Fluence has also been transitioning to a more regionalized business model over the last couple of years, forging partnerships with manufacturers in North America and Europe as well as the Asia-Pacific region. We have selected contract manufacturers for our North American and European locations and expect these facilities will alleviate the burden of a single manufacturing location by expanding production and reducing shipping and logistical costs.
