Chelsea Bear is a disability advocate who was born with cerebral palsy (CP) and officially diagnosed at the age of 3. CP is the most common motor disability in children, with 1-4 per 1,000 live births or children showing signs of at least one symptom. Globally, over 17 million people have CP, yet there is a slew of myths and a great deal of stigma around the disability.
Chelsea has generated a significant following on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube by sharing her first-hand experience living with CP, with many of her videos going viral. Her content is educational, fun and lighthearted, and she strives to create acceptance and awareness for people with disabilities and beyond.
