Christian John Lillis
Christian has 15 years of experience as a nonprofit Manager, patient safety advocate, and fundraiser. He is the Co-founder and Executive Director of The Peggy Lillis Foundation, which raises awareness of clostridium difficile infections and advocates for proven solutions to this epidemic. He was previously Managing Director of prospect strategy & research at Teach For America. Before joining TFA, Christian was Director of Development at In The Life Media where he led a strategic overhaul of the organization’s fundraising systems, oversaw its most successful donor acquisition campaign, secured numerous new foundation grants, and conceived and executed a new signature fundraising event: The Season Premiere Gala.

We are living in an age of pandemics, from the West Nile virus outbreak over 32 years ago to COVID-19, we are averaging a novel viral outbreak or epidemic every four years. Combined with increasingly antimicrobial resistant bacteria and fungi, these new viruses are a growing threat to the health of everyone, but especially the elderly, disabled, immuno-compromised and the poor. Now is the time to invest in surveillance, tracking, public education, infection prevention and treatment.
