Dr. Christina Hong-Huber (she/her) is a clinical psychologist licensed in Washington D.C., Virginia, and New York working primarily with clients in the Washington D.C. metro area and New York. Through the Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact (PSYPACT), she can provide teletherapy to clients in 40+ states. Before starting her own practice, she worked at a group practice, and before that at Swarthmore College’s Counseling and Psychological Services. Dr. Hong-Huber also has experience working with patients in outpatient and inpatient hospitals, community mental health clinics, a private school, and other private practices and college counseling centers. She works with undergraduate and graduate students and professionals in government, non-profit, medicine, law, and consulting. She has collaborated with local and national non-profit mental health organizations to provide talks and to lead support groups.
Dr. Hong-Huber is currently a clinical professor of psychology at The George Washington University and an adjunct professor at The Chicago School, both in Washington, D.C. She has published about anxiety and OCD, presented widely, and received awards for demonstrating exceptional client care and academic achievement. Dr. Hong-Huber is also board certified in biofeedback, a complementary treatment to psychotherapy.
Dr. Hong-Huber received her Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) and master’s degrees from the Institute for Graduate Clinical Psychology at Widener University, an APA-accredited clinical psychology doctoral program. Prior to that, she earned a bachelor of science degree from the University of Michigan with Honors in Brain, Behavior, and Cognitive Science.
