As President and CEO of the National Council for Behavioral Health, Chuck leads the national charge to ensure people living with mental illness and addictions have access to comprehensive, high-quality care that affords every opportunity for recovery. To accomplish this, he harnesses the voices and support of the more than 3,000 National Council members who serve over 10 million individuals nationwide.
There's been an uptick in mental health concerns since the pandemic began. Because of this, mental health awareness has taken hold over the past year.
I do think that we are at a turning point moment in our nation that will continue past the pandemic, especially because mental health and substance use challenges will continue to rise as we return to more normal routines.
