Before establishing Just Vertical, Conner amassed diverse experience across various sectors. In his work before Just Vertical, Conner focused on strategically positioning agriculture as a solution to sustainability challenges in Canada, proposing sustainability strategies and representing his organizations at public events.
In 2017, Conner co-founded Just Vertical with long-time friend and fellow University of Toronto graduate, [Kevin Jakiela](https://ca.linkedin.com/in/kevin-jakiela-890a54116). Their shared vision was to address food insecurity by enabling individuals to grow their own food at home. Leveraging their combined expertise in plant science, engineering, manufacturing, and business development, they designed, built, and patented vertical hydroponic systems that can be used in any and every space.
Under Conner's leadership, Just Vertical has developed products like the [AEVA](https://justvertical.com/products/the-aeva), [EVE](https://justvertical.com/products/the-eve), and [ECO Living Green Wall](https://justvertical.com/products/eco-living-green-wall) indoor farming systems for the consumer market, which allow users to cultivate herbs, leafy greens, and vegetables year-round in their own homes. Just Vertical has grown to over 2,000 growers across North America.
