Cynthia Chen is the Co-Founder and CEO of Kikoff, a financial technology company dedicated to helping individuals achieve financial health through credit building. With a strong background in fintech, Cynthia has played pivotal roles in several successful startups. She was part of the founding or executive teams at Figure, LendingHome, and OnDeck, all of which achieved billion-dollar valuations.
Before establishing Kikoff, Cynthia served as the Chief Risk Officer at LendingHome, where she expanded the risk management team from 3 to 36 members within a year and significantly improved portfolio performance, limiting credit loss to less than 0.1%. Under Cynthia’s leadership, Kikoff offers products designed to assist users in building credit without traditional barriers such as requiring a credit card, bank account, co-signer, or paystub.
Cynthia’s extensive experience and commitment to financial inclusion have positioned her as a notable figure in the fintech industry, driving initiatives that democratize financial health for a broader audience.
Cynthia has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Operations Research, as well as a Master in Mathematics of Finance, both from Columbia University.
