Dan Jenkins is a Tacoma, Washington native and pursued his education at Seattle Pacific University, where he also played basketball. After graduating, Dan entered the world of property management and commercial real estate development, a path that would define his professional life.

From 1991 to 2010, Dan served as the Managing Member of Weiss-Jenkins Properties, LLC, a property management company he co-founded. Under his leadership, the company successfully managed the operations of closely held real estate assets. He was responsible for the development and redevelopment of over 350,000 square feet of office and retail properties, with a portfolio value exceeding $100 million. In 2011, he formed New Core Development, LLC, and as its Managing Member, he led the charge in developing "In-Fill" commercial and multifamily projects, contributing to the growth and vitality of the Seattle area community.

His journey with pickleball began in the 1980s when he worked as a summer camp counselor and, later, as a family camper. This was where he was first introduced to the sport, and he quickly developed a passion for it. Over the years, he honed his pickleball skills, participating in annual pickleball tournaments at family camp. One of the most remarkable highlights in Dan's pickleball journey came in 1999 during a family camp pickleball tournament. He clinched the men's singles championship, earning the prestigious title of "Champion of the Millennium" due to the tournament's occurrence in that momentous year.

He also feels that pickleball's real charm is in the amazing community it builds. It's more than just a sport; it's a chance to connect with others who share a similar passion. This sense of community not only enhances social lives but also contributes to physical well-being. It's about changing lives, both on and off the court. Dan serves as the Area Representative, CEO, and Owner of the Pickleball Kingdom - North Texas franchise.

A 30-year career in commercial real estate development is a testament to Dan’s commitment, vision, and ability to transform properties into thriving assets. His impact extends beyond his professional life as he is deeply rooted in his community and dedicated to the principles of faith, family, and the cherished culture and limitless opportunities that Texas offers.

Dan now calls Argyle, Texas home, where he resides with his wife and their 8-year-old grandson. His love for pickleball remains unwavering as he not only actively participates in the sport but also dedicates his time to fostering the growth of new pickleball clubs in North Texas.
