Daniel Shaykevich is a principal and portfolio manager at Vanguard, where he is the co-head of the Emerging Markets and Sovereign Debt team. Mr. Shaykevich focuses on managing the debt of sovereigns’ issuers and government-related companies in Vanguard's actively managed portfolios.

Prior to joining Vanguard in May 2013, Mr. Shaykevich was a portfolio manager at BlackRock with responsibilities for managing emerging market debt in dedicated and crossover portfolios. Before this position, he was in Blackrock’s portfolio risk management group, which focused on alternative investments.

Mr. Shaykevich holds a B.S. degree in computer science and economics from Carnegie Mellon University.
