Dana Conley is a New York City based Registered Dietitian. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Global Public Health and Anthropology from New York University. After college, Dana worked in women’s health and advertising where she was tasked with writing blog posts on prenatal and infant nutrition for Maven Clinic and Little Spoon. Nutrition research quickly became the part of her job she looked forward to most.

Dana returned to New York University to study nutrition. She completed her Dietetic Internship at The Mount Sinai Hospital where she provided medical nutrition therapy to patients with a variety of complex medical conditions. In addition to her Dietetic Internship, she has spent time as an intern at various private practices and as a nutrition volunteer at Stanford Health Care conducting research on feeding methods in the Cardiac ICU.

Dana believes in balanced and sustainable eating patterns that are actually enjoyable for her clients. She is an active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and the Women's Health Practice Group. In her free time, she enjoys trying new recipes, reading novels, and walking through Central Park with a podcast.

  • The appeal to multiple age groups is what one dietician loves most. Little Spoon "really takes the guesswork out of which foods to introduce when and ensures that you are providing age-appropriate meals that provide adequate nutrition," says Dana Conley, RDN, a registered dietitian with Rooted Wellness. "Plus, their age-appropriate meals are cut into the proper sizing to prevent choking."
