Dr. Daniel Kearney is the CTO for Firmus based in Singapore where he is responsible for the development of the immersion cooling technology for the next generation Sustainable Metal Cloud AI infrastructure.

Daniel began his career in cloud computing in Switzerland in 2018 with Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Global Solutions before moving to Singapore as ASEAN Head of Technology where he lead the Enterprise Solutions Architecture function focusing on helping customers leverage Cloud to accelerate their digital transformation strategy. Prior to AWS, Daniel was a Senior Research Scientist at ABB specialising in thermal management for high heat flux electronics and is a renowned expert with several patents and publications.

Daniel holds a BE Mechanical Engineering (UCD Dublin), a PhD from University of Limerick Ireland specialising in Experimental Heat Transfer and Fluid Mechanics and an MBA from IMD Switzerland graduating as valedictorian. He is also a Fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and a Chartered Engineer with Engineers Ireland.
