Daniel Kim is the Head of Capital Markets at Maple Finance. Prior to joining Maple, Daniel was a founding member of SFOX, one of the first crypto prime brokerages in the U.S, where he led the organization’s growth, business development and strategy.

Before his work at SFOX, Daniel served as the Head of Sales at Gemini Exchange and as a Director at itBit (aka Paxos), two of the largest regulated crypto exchanges in the U.S. At Gemini, Daniel worked closely with the Winklevoss twins and was responsible for leading the institutional sales for their crypto custody and exchange business. During his time at itBit, the first regulated crypto exchange to receive a NY Trust Charter, Daniel was instrumental to Paxos in receiving a trust license and was responsible for leading growth and development in operations and sales.

Daniel received a BA in Entrepreneurship and Business management from Boston University before starting his career in traditional finance, focused on fixed income capital markets at State Street and BNP Paribas.
