At heart, I'm a dedicated family man and father to four amazing children. My family has always been my anchor, guiding me in every decision and turning point in life. The profound loss of my beloved wife, Maeve, to breast cancer in April 2018 has been a defining moment in my story. In that trying time, family became everything. It compelled me to leave my CEO position at a sustainable water company—a role that had me jetting off to our Pittsburg Corp office weekly—to be there for Maeve in her battle against the disease.

Following her passing, I took a year off to be there for our children, allowing myself time to regroup and reevaluate my career path. An introspective journey made me realize that my true passion was in real estate, a sector where I could make genuine connections and a tangible impact. Reflecting on a personal experience, when we sought a new home for Maeve—one free from pesticides, which we believed would aid her healing—it was clear. I managed to find and acquire our dream house using creative financing. This personal success story spurred the idea that I could recreate the same win-win solutions for others, leading to the inception of HomeVisors Collective.
