David M. Dobrzynski, M.D. is an assistant professor of Medicine, Infectious Diseases, at the University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC). He currently serves as director of the Infectious Diseases Fellowship program, and as medical director for the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program at Strong Memorial Hospital, part of URMC.
He is board certified in Infectious Disease and Internal Medicine. His clinical research includes respiratory viral infections, COVID-19 therapeutics, antimicrobial stewardship, multi-drug resistant organisms, and hospital-acquired infections. He is a published researcher, and has been interviewed with local Rochester, NY media several times as an expert in COVID and monkeypox.
