Deborah Phillips is the Executive Director for the Black Directors Health Equity Agenda, Inc. (BDHEA). She provides strategic vision and leadership in managing the BDHEA and its growth--guiding its executive sponsors, members and aligned entities in prioritizing the right balance between the healthcare and the business aspects of its mission. Deborah supports the BDHEA Board of Directors in the operational, strategic direction, communications, and financial management of BDHEA. She is also a BDHEA Founding Member.
Deborah serves as a Senior Advisor to Gray Matter Analytics, Inc. a healthcare solutions company. Gray Matter, through its CoreTechs™ platform and solution suite, delivers foundational and advanced analytics for healthcare providers (systems), payers, and pharma companies.
During her tenure at several top marketing organizations, Deborah launched new products, processes, and systems. With over 35 years of innovative experience in building and leading world-class, high-impact global teams, and product management, Deborah led operations, marketing, sales, and engineering for Fortune 500 companies such as Cleversafe (currently IBM Object Storage), Cisco Systems, Motorola and SBC Communications (currently AT&T) and HP.
Maintaining a strong civic commitment, Deborah regularly serves on boards and participates in programs whose mission aligns with the common good and initiatives for advancements in health equity.
